WFCRC Chairperson vacancy
Our current chairperson, Kara Tranter, will be stepping down from her role as Chairperson following our AGM in November due to work and family commitments. In addition, her husband Tim will also be stepping down from his role as Vice Chairperson.
Kara has been a terrific ambassador for our club, and together with her husband Tim have helped develop our coaching programme (particularly Youth and Limitless) as well as organising and overseeing many of our events, including the 24 Hour event last year.
Our club continues to evolve and we have seen more participation in social rides and Gravel / MTB. At the same time we have struggled to attain necessary numbers to put on Race and TT events.
We really need to bring new blood onto the committee and someone to lead the club forward in the direction that reflects the membership. If you have a particular interest and would like to be nominated for Chairperson, or get involved with another committee role then please let us know ASAP.
I will be writing to you all soon with details of our AGM. It would be great to see as many of our members there as possible.
