Return of Friday night Youth Coaching Next item WFCRC Turbo sessions...

Hi everyone

In line with the latest British Cycling COVID-19 guidance I am pleased to be able to confirm that we will be restarting our youth coaching programme from this coming Friday.

This is based on a maximum ratio of 1 coach to 5 riders as per BC advice and we will plan to run two groups per hour session in order to ensure riders comply with social distancing requirements – so we are able to accommodate 10 riders in session one and 10 in session two.

Due to the limited numbers allowed we are currently limiting these sessions to Wyre Forest club members only

– The first session will be 6-7pm and aimed at novice to intermediate riders as per previous coaching sessions
– The second session will be from 7.15-8.15 and is for advanced and youth riders as per previous arrangements

If you arrive early then please stay in your vehicle until your session is due to start and there is a 15 minute changeover window between sessions to specifically allow for social distancing requirements to be complied with and to avoid people crowding around by the track entrance.

The specific rules of the booking are detailed on the booking form which is available at and all sessions must be pre-booked.

Absolutely no riders will be allowed to attend without pre-booking and accepting the terms of booking, which detail requirements around COVID-19 safety, social distancing and the latest information about the clubhouse and toilets which currently remain closed.

As usual the cost is £2 but please bring the exact change as we will be collecting money using a cash deposit box in order to avoid handling cash on the night and change will not be provided.

The Thursday evening and Saturday morning track sessions will continue to be open for all club members and will not be coached but again need to be pre-booked at… due to restricted numbers allowed on the track per session.

We will also be looking to put on some additional day time youth coaching sessions over the coming weeks and will confirm as soon as they are available.

Hi Tim, Ive tired to book a coaching session but there are no friday evening sessions to book? Are they all booked up? Is it worth considering a rotor so all children can get a session?
    Kind regards
