These rides are primarily for experienced riders who are confident riding safely on public roads. There will be ride leaders but the responsibility for rider safety rests with the individual.
Riders are expected to participate on roadworthy cycles with helmets and lights where necessary.
Younger riders will be supervised at all times.
There is an additional session planned using the track which allows riders to build speed and confidence before attempting these road rides. Details to follow.
This rides are a collaboration between WFCRC, Success Cycling and Overspoke Bikes. Thanks to Jamie Jenkins and Mark Young for supporting the event.
There maybe weeks when weather forces cancellation of the rides. We will do our best to inform you in plenty of time should this occur.
If you have any questions please post in the event.

This week the Thursday B ride will follow a revised route.
    The reasons for this are
    1. Pipeline roadworks and poor condition of some of the lanes on the current route
    2. Due to the higher numbers of youth riders joining us quieter country lanes are a better option for honing group riding skills.
    3. It makes a change.
In a nutshell, it’s out of Stouport, up Chadwick Bank, left into Crown Lane, across A449, past Ind. Est, left to Elmbridge, left on A442, right on Clattercut Lane, left on Lunnon Lane to Rushock, Cakebole, then Curslow Lane, Ryeland Lane, Walton Lane via Hartlebury the same as the current route.
*Load it on your sat navs or commit it to your internal memory.* (I’m not always in earshot of everyone in a large group to respond to direction queries)
    As always the ride rules apply;
Ride no more than 2 abreast
    Obey signage.
Be courteous to other road users (even if they’re in the wrong)
The responsibility for safety rests with yourselves as adults. Youth riders will be given clear instruction from the leaders and will be our primary responsibility.
This is a paced ride and regulars are improving week on week, it will take effort to stay with the group.
Target time is 60 mins for this route
    Depart 19:00

There is the potential for rain this evening so an extra layer/waterproof may be an idea
