To celebrate the summer solstice we are having a special evening ride to watch the last sunset before the days shorten again.

The idea is to head out past Bromsgrove and up the Lickey Hills which will (should) afford a great view of the setting sun across our shire. We then follow it round to Romsley and the top of St Kenelms to maximise the view potential as the light fades on what is the longest day of the year. Sunset is 21:25 by which time we should be well round the route.

A gentle downhill run into Kiddy/Stourport afterwards.

This is intended as a social ride in the B style, not a smashfest. It’ll end in darkness so working lights are necessary. Druid costumes not obligatory though stick on aero wizard sleeves will garner bonus points, as will a sacrificial lamb. Meet up is at new Aldi by the leisure centre.
