CycloCross – Coached session

An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Wednesday, repeating until October 23, 2019

These weekly CycloCross coaching sessions, aimed at getting riders ready for the CylcoCross Season.

We will focus on developing core skills and techniques required in CycloCross, as well as giving riders race scenarios to practice and utilise these skills.

Who is it aimed at?

  • These sessions are for anyone with a keen interest in CycloCross, from Novice to Expert, there will be something for everyone!

What do you need?

  • A fully working CX/Gravel or MTB bike in good working order, helmet, gloves, appropriate clothing for the weather & time of year, spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump and enough food & drink for the session and a pair of SPD (NOT SPD-SL) shoes or trainers suitable for off bike movements.

Where will these take place?

These sessions will take place at Stourport Memorial Park, A map showing where we meet and available parking maybe found here

The 1 to 1.5 hour session will follow the format below:  

  • Warm-up
  • Skills/technique session
  • Practice Race(s)
  • Cooldown

Charges for each session are;

  • Non Member £3
  • WFCRC 2nd Claim Member £2
  • WFCRC 1st claim member FREE
