Cycling Weekly ride with WFCRC

July 8 @ 9:15 am - 3:00 pm

Cycling Weekly ‘Ride with a Club’ feature about Wyre Forest CRC will take place on the morning of Sunday 8th July 2018.
The feature will then be published in the iconic Cycling Weekly magazine in mid-August 2018.

We have been planning the format of the article to ensure it gives them the content that they need. The article always has a club profile, group road ride and cafe stop. The journalist rides with us and the photographer leapfrogs us in a car.

We will meet at around 09:15 at Stourport Sports Club. They will have a chat to members and take some photos of us on the circuit, then we will head out on a club run at around 09:30 over to Hiller’s cafe north of Evesham. (Dunnington Heath Farm, Alcester, Warwickshire, B49 5PD). The ride is open to all club members, hence we have picked a relatively flat/rolling route. Club members are welcome to just come to the start, ride the whole route, out and back, or part of it. (The photographer leaves us after the cafe stop).

As club members, if you would like to come down and join us on 8th July at Stourport Sports Club you are very welcome, we want as many people there as possible. Obviously, this is a feature article to be published about Wyre Forest CRC, which we are proud of, and want to display the best we can. We want to show that we are a club whose members are proud to ride with us so please if possible wear current blue and white club cycling kit if you intend to come along and want to be in the photographs.

Please can we all ensure we have the below route loaded into our GPS units, as the ride on the return leg will probably break up with the A group leaving 5 minutes or so before the B group.
