This week the adventure is gentle. We’re enjoying the forecast sunshine on a nice short route that takes in Bromsgrove and Barnt Green.

As usual on one of my ‘flat’ routes there are a couple of tests on the out leg to stretch those muscles. Nothing too difficult for riders of your stature though.

The route is out via Lincomb and the lanes onto Doverdale and into Bromsgrove. We then do a steady climb up into Barnt Green before looping back to the the cafe stop at Tardebigge Court.

Homeward bound is a delightful mix of lanes and downhills as we roll to Upton Warren and Rushock and on to the split point.

Absolutely no rush on this ride. Take as long as you like.

It’s likely to be hot so bring plenty to drink and suncream, tanning butter if you must. No speedo’s though, there might be small children about. Usual time at the club for a prompt 9am depart.
