A gentle bimble awaits the B this Sunday as we head north on a loop around some unfamiliar lanes and strange areas.

This route goes up a bit and down a bit and shouldn’t outpace your lungs in any way. You don’t even need to know it starts at the club, at 9am, and heads through Kiddy and skirts Stourbridge and Wollaston and Wordsley by way of lane, path and road. You just want to know about the cafe, which duties are amply undertaken by Cafe 212 in Wombourne, where we’ve had many a delightful stop.

The return sees us loop around Bobbington and past the airfield (or Wolverhampton Business Airport for the more corporate amongst us) to Kinver and a quick climb up Rock Houses. We re-enter the Wyre Forest atmosphere at Wolverley to maintain the W theme and disperse at the end of Marlpool Lane.

An honest start to August if ever there was one. Bring a bike, a smile and lashings of inappropriate tales.
