Now that summer has dipped its toes in the year we can get about the serious business of riding in sunshine and single layers. This week we feature the familiar Botany Bay cafe as our morning escapade.

A route known to many but with a few amendments. Please make sure you have the correct route downloaded from the link below as there are several versions about. Usual modus operandi, leave the club, go down the Gilgal (surprisingly) and across the common towards Hartlebury. Lanes paast the Honey Bee to Droitwich including a shimmy onto the cycleway at the BigBear island. Be aware of this, don’t end up on the dual carriageway as getting across later will be difficult.

The opportunity to tackle the ford at Shell is available, should you want to, on our way to Feckenham and the climb up to Astwood Bank and the cafe.

The return retraces the route back but then heads towards Bentley, Stoke Pound, Cooksey Green and Rushock where the split point is.

This ride is part of our continued B mission to bring trade back to as many local cafes as possible and we won’t even judge(much) if you have two slices of cake .
